The new International CLIVAR
As part oft he WCRP reorganization that took place during the last years, CLIVAR also adjusted and show now a new structure in support of its new science foci. CLIVAR is WCRP’s core project on the ocean and climate: Variability, predictability and change. In an attempt to enhance the coordination between US CLIVAR and International CLIVAR, the talk will summarize the science foci and the structure of the new CLIVAR on an international level, and will discuss ongoing developments. This includes the new ICPO structure. This also pertains to the planning of the pan CLIVAR meeting to take place during July 14 and July 19 in The Hague jointly with GEWEX.
