US CLIVAR Inter-Agency Group

The US CLIVAR Inter-Agency Group (IAG) includes program managers from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the Department of Energy (DOE), and the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The group meets regularly to coordinate implementation of research activities in support of US CLIVAR goals.

The IAG shares information on agency announcements, priorities, and budgets; plans and tracks the progress of the program and supported activities; identifies agency interest in new research opportunities and development of joint research proposal solicitations; and supports the formation of new working groups and sponsorship of workshops, conferences, and training programs.
