Transportation
Denver International Airport (DEN) is a ~45 minute drive to UCAR Center Green. If you are using public transportation, the AB1 Bus provides service from DEN to several stops in Boulder. A $10 fare is valid for one day of transportation.
Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are also available, with fares to Boulder typically ranging from $50-$100, depending on the time of day and demand.

On-Site Information
Free parking is available in the garage adjoining the Center Green 1 building (see map), which offers the most convenient access to the main entrance. Additional free parking is available along the driveway on the west side of the building, as well as in the parking lot located behind the building on the north side. Please note that all participants must enter the building from the south side, next to the parking garage.
Complimentary Wi-Fi and plug-in points for charging will be available in the meeting spaces.
Center Green has women's and men's restrooms on the north side of the first-floor atrium, and single-stall restrooms are available in rooms 2024, 3048, and 3052 (see second and third-floor maps). A lactation room can be found at 2668LR, and is shielded from view, has a door lock, mini fridge, and is free from intrusion from other building participants. After-hours access to the building requires a key card. Elevator access is provided for all floors.
Meals
Breakfast, morning coffee break, lunch, and afternoon coffee break will be provided. A networking event with heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be held on Monday, August 3 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM Mountain Time in the Center Green lobby.
Posters
In-Person Posters
In-person poster presenters will present during the designated in-person poster session. Poster boards measure 4 ft x 6 ft (1.2m x 1.8m). To ensure your poster fits comfortably, we recommend a maximum size of:
- Portrait: 3 ft x 4 ft (0.9m x 1.2m)
- Landscape: 4 ft x 3 ft (1.2m x 0.9m)
Poster setup instructions and your assigned display location will be provided at the registration table desk upon arrival. Pushpins will be available.
The nearest print shop is the FedEx Print and Ship, located at 2795 Pearl Street, Suite 104, Boulder, Colorado. They are open until 6:00 PM Mountain Time on Sundays.
Virtual Posters
Virtual poster presenters will present during the designated virtual poster session. Please prepare 1–2 slides for a 3-minute presentation that highlights the key points of your work.
To allow time for all presenters, there will not be a live Q&A following each presentation. We encourage you to include your email address on your slides so attendees can contact you afterwards with questions or comments.

We aim to provide a seamless experience for both in-person and virtual participants. Additional information will be provided to you via email as we approach the workshop dates.
Tour of Quantum Commons – Elevate Quantum
In-person workshop participants may join an optional tour of Quantum Commons and Elevate Quantum (18300 CO-72, Arvada, CO 80007) on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 5. Transportation will be provided.
Quantum Commons is a 70-acre quantum campus, providing open-access quantum lab and cleanroom user facilities, and space for quantum startups and scale-ups. Facilities include an open-access quantum computer, a cryogenic testing lab, and photonic integrated circuit (PIC) fabrication.
Elevate Quantum is a federally-designed Tech Hub across Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming that represents the nation's largest quantum industry cluster. Boasting a regional consortium of 120 organizations, Elevate Quantum helps turn cutting-edge research into world-changing companies, facilitates a vibrant startup and scale-up ecosystem, and builds a strong workforce.
BCycle
UCAR has arranged free access for using BCycle electric bicycles for local use, with docking stations at Center Green and near local hotels. Below are instructions on how to use the bicycles.
