Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the brand new Hilton Garden Inn located at the corner of 28th & Canyon.
Negotiated Government Rates are as follows:
April 30th - $130+tax, May 1-5 - $153+tax.
Please mention UCAR/TPOS when booking.
Rooms must be reserved by March 31 to guarantee these rates.
Breakfast will be included for an additional $5 per day.
Internet is complimentary within the hotel.

Getting to Boulder
Denver International Airport (DIA) is 47 miles from Boulder.
There are many transportation options to get from Denver International Airport to Boulder. The most economical means are the Super Shuttle and the Green Ride Shuttle.
Shuttles
Super Shuttle offers a standard fare of $54.00 on a round-trip fare. Please make your reservation online in advance. Meeting attendees may obtain a $6.00 discount on a round-trip fare, using the Discount Code "NCAR1." Enter the code in the Group/Code box.
Green Ride Shuttle offers a $64.00 rate for a round-trip fare to any hotel in Boulder. Please make your reservation online in advance. You will receive an email confirmation that will include directions on where to catch the shuttle van at the airport.
Each shuttle company has a ticket counter at the airport. The ticket counters are located on the main level (Level 5) of the Terminal, near the Baggage Claim area and the rental car counters. Shuttles pick-up and drop-off from Jeppesen Terminal, Level 5, Island 5, outside doors 505-507 (east side) and 510-512 (west side).
Rental Cars
The rental car counters are located on the main level (Level 5) of the Terminal, near the Baggage Claim area.
There are two main routes to Boulder from the airport. Route 1 (I70 and US36) is free, and Route 2 (E-470 and US36) is a toll road.
Taxis
There is a flat rate of $89.00 to take a taxi to Boulder from Denver International Airport to Boulder. Taxis are available outside baggage claim.
Transportation Around Town
Boulder B-Cycle - Self service hourly bike rental stations located near most hotels and the UCAR Center Green Campus.
Poster Specifications
Your poster may be up to 48 inches horizontally. The board itself has 72 inches of vertical space but the eye-level area is between 48 and 54 inches. See attached photo. UCAR’s poster panels are not the typical 4 x 6 foot horizontal format.
A FedEx/Kinkos is located at 2795 Pearl Street and can print posters. Be aware that the cost can be over $100 depending on the type of paper used. If you upload your order to the FedEx website they can deliver your poster to the Center Green Building or to your hotel.
Food Service During Workshop
UCAR’s onsite cafeteria is open for breakfast and lunch. A variety of hot daily menu items are offered in addition to a full salad bar, made to order sandwiches and burgers. Vegetarian and gluten free diets are accommodated. The café only accepts cash. An ATM is available in the lobby.
