While quantum algorithms have been developed to simulate a range of plasma physics models, dusty plasmas present additional challenges by introducing new space and time scales. Drawing on recent kinetic simulation strategies, such algorithms could enable more accurate modeling of space weather and Earth's upper atmosphere, improving forecasts of how Earth systems respond to solar-driven dusty plasma activity.
