2016 ENSO Ecosystems Local Logistics
Meeting Venue
The Martin Johnson House at Scripps Institution of Oceanography
Finding a parking space on campus can be tricky and all parking is by permit only. It’s recommended that folks share taxis or Ubers to/from their hotel. If you must drive, please plan to carpool with other colleagues.
Transportation
Directions to Martin Johnson House can be accessed here. Note that parking on the Scripps campus requires a parking pass. We will have a handful of passes available, but it is strongly recommended that you make use of the shuttle from the Sheraton La Jolla or taxi/UBER in each day. If you must drive, inform us in advance so we can set a pass aside for you.
Directly following the workshop on Tuesday we will walk to the Revelle Family Student Center Surfside for a networking hour and reception. We must remove everything from the Martin Johnson house by 5 p.m. each evening so please plan to carry everything with you to the reception.
For those staying at the Sheraton La Jolla, there will be a 27 passenger shuttle from Sundiego Charter departing at 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday and on Thursday to bring you to the MJ House. The shuttle will return to the hotel from the Revelle student center at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from the MJ house at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
