Transportation from Denver International Airport

For transportation from the Denver International Airport (DIA) to Boulder, you can use the Boulder SuperShuttle.  Please use NCAR’s discount code of “NCAR1” when making your reservation. When you arrive at DIA, check in at the reservation desk and buy a round trip ticket, which is about $44.00.  You may also make a reservation ahead of time through their website.  Do not use a taxi from DIA to Boulder as it can cost you $160.00 or more. However, if your flight arrives after 11:30pm, a taxi may be your only option. If you take the RTD bus to Boulder, you may have to walk several blocks to get to the hotel.

Dining

Weekday lunches will be at the NCAR/UCAR cafeteria and cost ~$5.00 - $14.00, payable in *cash* at the cafeteria checkout (there is an ATM machine at the mesa Lab for your convenience that charges a transaction fee). There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotels.

Welcome Reception

A welcome reception will be held at Zolo Grill from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Sunday, July 28^th.  Zolo is within easy walking distance of the Millennium. There will be someone to lead you to Zolo, so please be in the hotel lobby by 5:45 pm in order to walk with the group.

Busing

A bus will transport you to and from the hotel and meeting location daily. See the daily bus schedule (included in the final agenda). Please note that the bus will depart at the time listed, so please be ready on time. The bus will not make a second trip.
