The Working Group on Emerging Data Science Tools for Climate Variability and Predictability was formed in September 2019 with the purpose of helping to foster the understanding, adoption, and further development of modern data science tools for the analysis of large-to-massive climate data sets.

2019 Call for new US CLIVAR working groups
Requests are now being accepted for one new US CLIVAR-sponsored working group for 2020. Submissions are encouraged from the US climate science community. All documents must be submitted by October 11, 2019. The next call for working groups will be in September 2020.
